Server update failing with "File name too long"

Out of the blue, my (Mac based) Plex server is not able to update, and crashes during the process. It’s currently trying to get to 1.21.0.3616 from 1.20.5.3600 and gives the following error about filename/path being too long, which it definitely is :wink:

plex-fail

Any suggestions? The endless PlexUpdater-<GUID> folders seems a little odd to me.

Close Plex media Server from the Chevron in menu bar or Force Quit.

Then go to:
https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/#plex-media-server

Download and swap out expanded app to the application folder, select Replace.
