Servers unavailable on only ONE device

Server Version#: 1.13.4.5271 and 1.15.6.1079
Player Version#: 3.53.7

I have two plex servers. One is hosted locally on a synology NAS, the other is remotely hosted on a seedbox. Both servers have remote access enabled and are equally accessible from my Macbook, regardless of whether I am using a VPN connection or a local connection.

However, just last night I suddenly lost access via the plex app from my windows 10 desktop to BOTH servers. I get the “The server “[Server Name]” is unavailable” error.

Here’s what I’ve tried:

  • Changing my network adapter’s DNS to 1.1.1.1
  • Restarting my router, both Plex installations & my computer
  • Removing and adding the servers to my plex account
  • Completely flattening and reinstalling windows
  • Clearing cookies/cache/etc
  • Trying different browsers
  • Using a VPN connection vs a local connection
  • Disabling secure connections on the servers

I can connect to both servers (local and remotely hosted) if I access the local server via the URL directly. It’s accessing the servers via the app.plex.tv URL where things break. At this point I’m completely befuddled since the issue is limited to just this computer, but only when accessing via app.plex.tv
