Hello,
i’ve installed plexmediaserver_1.21.1.3876 on a brand new server ubuntu 20.10 and it’s impossible to start…
it’s not my message error because i have not saved it, but it’s very similar :
$sudo systemctl status plexmediaserver

I finaly found an old version 1.20.1.3252 that works very well, so now i’m afraid to update.
I have the habit of restating it because many will turn it off (thinking they are saving space) or turn on VERBOSE (thinking they are helping). Both of those options don’t provide the best level of detail for the initial investigation.
Hi,
i finally insalled last version of plex, and this time it worked !
however I have tried several times before, and the only installation that worked was an older version of plex.
But I hadn’t tried to install the latest version again on top of it.
Maybe the old version unlocked something that allowed the latest version to be installed?
