I’m sure i’ve done a few things wrong. I decided to reformat my PC from scratch - not an in place upgrade. I did backup my folder "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases\
I installed Windows 11 on a new drive, installed plex. Checked to make sure all my files were in the same location on my G: drive - verified correct drive letter.
I restored my "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases\ folder.
Did you back up anything else other than the database files?
You seem to have two servers, one of which is up. Is that other one (with all the music libraries) irrelevant?
If you didn’t back up more than the database files, then its a brand new server with a new name. Did you even get a “setup” page when you went to “127.0.0.1:32400/web” ?
THanks before I saw this, I claimed it in set up and it seems to be moving forward. I have a few thousand things so it may take a bit before my next question.
Haha, ok then. I saw from your pic you were already on the local web client, so it seemed odd you didn’t mention claiming the server or such. I’ll be here to help (if I can) if you got more Q’s.
