Hi guys.
I am simply trying to set up a second server under the same account. Simple as it seems, I can’t seem to find the option anywhere once I have signed in. I also cannot seem to proceed without signing in so where do I go ?
you just install a server on another computer and sign into it. the server is an app and you can’t have it running twice on the same computer if that is what you are trying to do. ( well you could be running in a VM but that is basically another computer ) if the other server on another computer is not signed in and on the same network it should give you option to “claim” the server
The hurdle seems to be that when I open up the server, it doesn’t let me continue without signing in. And then once I have signed in, I can’t automatically or otherwise add the server because it picks up the one that already exists under that account. I am just using one incidence of the app ofcourse , nothing fancy.
that is the web app not the server. you can skip signing into the web app by clicking on the “Whats this” which should be on the bottom right of the sign in screen
are you going to localIP:32400/web on the computer you installed the new server on?
Thanks the problem was that the server was claimed under another account. Must have been a while back when I was mucking around with it. I signed into that and removed it and then I was able to claim it. Thanks for your help!
OMFG, this was driving me nuts. I did the same as Mr.Jai to solve it, thank you so much guys!
Basically, if we’re going to have 2 PMS (2 separate Mac computers in my case) on the same network, we should only sign-in on one machine? Anyway, this approach worked for me. Just sharing.

sorry not understanding, what do you mean “to obtain IPTV”
I’m having this issue too, setting up a second server, on my local network (first one is remote). Using the docker container version, as soon as I hit ip:32400/web it redirects to plex signin. There is no “What’s this” link. If I log in, it redirects back to ip:32400/web but I can only select my existing server. There is no option to claim the one I’m on.
EDIT: Figured it out, the ALLOWED_NETWORKS var needs to be set to allow unauthed signin (or manually add a PLEX_CLAIM token) then the “what’s this?” link appears.
Huh???
