Setting up Remote Access - Not Available Outside Your Network

Server Version#: 1.15.6.1079
Player Version#: 7.9

Please can anyone help with advice on configuring my server for remote access. I can access my media remotely but it appears to be via the Plex relay service since I get the message that the server isn’t being accessed directly. I am using a PlusNet Hub One as my modem and a Linksys Velop as the router. Both the Plusnet Hub One and the Velop are running DCHP as the Plusnet Hub One cannot be set to act as a modem only. The Velop is the only connection to the Plusnet Hub One. I am wondering if this configuration is preventing the server being accessed remotely as its address is not on the same network as modem. My external IP is 147.147.xx.xxx, the modem and Linksys Velop are on the same network 192.168.x.xx but the server is 10:225.x.xx. The Plex server is running on LINUX.
Thanks.

Try to set the linksys router into bridge mode. This way it’ll extend the network established by the modem instea of setting up its own subnet.

Thank you for the advice. I would prefer to keep the linksys router in DCHP mode as bridge mode disables many of the linksys Velop features. Is there any way of remote access without using bridge mode?

I think I have sorted it. I just needed to add a port forward on the Plusnet Hub One to the Linksys Velop. The Plex server certainly says it is now available outside my network. I will update if I have any problems.
