Setup recording withOut antenna or homerun box

I doubt there’s official support for those services but from what a simple forum search brought up there’s ways to get this done:

LOCAST.org NO antenna NO DVR box

We have locast.org here in Houston for all the local stations. How/can I use this app in PLEX and record it to my own HD or perhaps even a cloud? Don’t want to purchase an antenna and DVR box.

I’ve found a feature suggestion to support/integrate slinging but that hasn’t got a significant audience/attention.

[Feature Request] Add Slingbox to the HDHomerun devices for Plex DVR

There are some limitations to HDHomerun which are filled by Slingbox - for instance remote access and DirectTV support. I would like to see PLEX DVR support Slingbox. There are presently recording methods available for Slingbox - Jaksta and kmttg (a Java implementation that I believe PLEX could incorporate), but it would be much more useful and refined as part of PLEX DVR.
