Setup wizard not starting DSM 7 No soup for you!

DSM-version: DSM 7.0.1-42218

The Plex server just stoped working en needed to be reinstalled. After installing Plex en giving the nieuw PlexMediaServer user the right to the folder/share i get the massage “No soup for you!”.

After clicking on the home button i get the next screen:

I am not able to add a library for some reason.

I tried the following:

  • Installing a nieuw version of Plex
  • Installing a old version of Plex
  • Deleting All Plex folders via SSH after uninstalling
  • Deleting the Share/folder en making a nieuw one.

do any one have some tips or idea what i can do to fix this?

I take it you’re accessing the new install via the Syno‘s local IP address and from within the same subnet to complete the setup?

Thank you for you help. The problem was that the nas was in a different subnet.
