I Have all the MP3 Tags right and matched it to the right album in Plex however after 30 seconds it changes the Artist back to Adele. I can’t Manually change it When I Do It does not Stay.
Thanks for the reply. I have already tried that. Music is Stored by Artist/Album/Track/
And I have already Checked Prefer Local MedaData. I also Picked the Album From the Match in the search. It Taggs the Matched Album but after 30 sec it goes back From Shaggy to Adele. Keeping The Same Album Names and Artwork just Changing the Artist Name.
Something Really Odd going on here. It is even Showing up that way on my Tidal Account in Plex.
I Logged into to the Tidal Dexter app where it is Right. I added an Album to my Favorites than Opened it in Plex and The Tidal Album Shows Adel not Shaggy. I Have Attached Screen Shots for you to see. As you can See the Tidal Logo in Plex Showing It is not an Album on my Server but Tidals Server. So Why Is Plex Changing the artist Name?
I can think of one thing to try. Click on the artists name to pull up the artist page. Then click on the three dots, then click on fix match. Pick the correct artist in this case Adele. Then do a metadata refresh at the artist level. See if that works.
Be mindful that you are at the artist level and not at the album level. You may have a mismatch of artists. I had to do this with a couple artists it cleared it up for me.
I think you will need a complete Plex dance of all involved artists , i.e. both Shaggy and Adele (and also all others who get mismatched.)
Verify again that all your music is indeed stored in the above mentioned folder structure and that you have pointed the Plex library to the folder which is immediately above the Artist level.
