ok i have an xbox one. i have no problem setting plex up on my gametag. i have plexpass. so then i go and set up my wife gametag on the same xbox one and set her up with here user account shared library it wants her to have plexpass. is there away around this?? i am not spending $149 for her to have plex on her gametag in the same house. basically it just share a library in the same house.
For right now plex is a plexpass feature only, and with MS you can only have one live id signed into plexpass at once. Once the app goes public and you can just buy it in the MS store this issue will go away.
The plexpass version of xbox app can only be signed into one microsoft ID at a time, so every time your wife signs in with her live account and opens plex it needs to be signed into plex again, and then vice versa when you sign in, this is how it is for now, until it comes out of plexpass status.

I have to partially disagree with this sentament.
Monsieur Latte is correct that you can only have one Xbox Live account per one Plex.tv account. You must use a plex.tv account though, managed users do not work. After you have created the account for your wife and added her to Plex Home, log into her xbox live account and open the plex app. When it gives you the pin, go to https://plex.tv/pin and log in with her account. She will be able to piggy back on your plex pass as long as she is part of your home.
I know for a fact this works. I have 2 other accounts hooked up on my xbox that are in my plex home that are able to use the application just fine.

I dont doubt that this works, however enabling the home feature can have some issues with other apps and other DNLA issues so I dont tend to recommend that to most users. However your method is correct and will work and thanks for chiming in!
