Shared Library Accessible via Browser not Apps

From outside of my home network I am able to access my library from a web browser.

  • Accessible by library owner (me)
  • Accessible by friend who library is shared with

From outside of my home network I have strange access issues via any app (IOS, Apple TV, Sony Smart TV)

  • Accessible by library owner (me)
  • Inaccessible by friend who library is shared with

I created a test account and shared the library with that user. It too experienced the same problem so I can rule out user error for my friend.

Is there a simple setting I overlooked while deploying my server? I had it working before moving to a new system so I may have missed a step.
