I have 2 Shield Pros (2017 & 2019) both have been working fine for more than a month now. I have the latest update both Shield Experience and PMS. My only issue is that there’s no Plex Media Server showing on my Shield Pro 2017 (which is fine since I now only use the 2019 as my only PMS). I’ve been streaming without any issues or disconnections. You need to tweak the settings to prevent the Shield from sleeping. There’s more settings within the developer settings… you can get into the developer settings by tapping the Android version approximately 7 times… there you can play around with the settings.
