Hello there. I have been noticing what I’d like to call micro audio drop outs (just audio, not video) with files that have Dolby true hd atmos tracks.
Examples would be in the film La La Land, during a scene with music, you can clearly hear the striking of the symbols cut out for what seems a tenth of a second. Or, in the super Mario Bros movie, a scene where Bowsers band is playing a heavy metal guitar riff and again the audio cuts out for a fraction of a second…
Tested these same examples in Kodi downloaded from Google Play store on shield, and they played these scenes without any audio cuts/micro dropouts.
I am using the Shield 2019 Pro. I have the shield directly connected to my HDMI in on my sound bar.
Hate to have to split my usage with Kodi but the dropouts are highly annoying.
