Player Version#: (unknown; don’t know how to check on Shield
TL,DR: Changed internal storage location in my Shield TV Plex Server to User Accessible, and now my server is offline and I have no idea how to recover without starting from scratch.
I’ll try to be concise, but bear with me… I’m running Plex on my Nvidia Shield TV 2017… I was playing around with Plex last night, and I got to looking into plugins. I saw that there was a plug-in to aid in displaying TV show extras so I look into how to add plugins them manually.
Through that research, one of the steps was moving the server data into user-accessible internal storage. That’s the only change I’ve made on Plex on the Shield, and now my server is showing up as offline. Even if I restart, sign out and back in, everything comes back as offline.
I’d rather not have to rebuild my server from scratch (9tb of TV and movies, including collections I’d have to reorganize).
Anyone have any trouble shooting tips? Anything I wasn’t clear on?
I’ve tried a FB group and Reddit with no luck… One person brought up backups of my server directory, which of course I don’t have… But from my reading even if I wanted to I’d have had to make the internal storage user accessible anyway.
