I am using all the latest versions of the Plex server and clients.
I am new to Plex so I really appreciate any help or feedback. I am growing really frustrated with Plex since it is becoming imposible to watch live tv, the reason why I decided to give plex premium a try and I will probably cancel it after this month.
I am using Nvidia the latest Shield TV Pro as the Plex Server and HDHomerun Quatro for the live channels feed.
I am able to setup the live channels and dvr and it works amazing for a while but after a couple of hours the server stops and I am not longer able to access the Plex server.
I am using ExpressVPN on the Shield TV and I noticed that if I turn off the VPN it allows me to start the server again and it runs for while but then it stops again. I am using VPN tunneling for both: the Plex server app and the Plex client and still causing the server to stop.
Is there anything I might be missing? I am trying to access the server from inside my network so I don’t understand how is the VPN affecting the server.
I am hoping that it does not require for me to a disable my VPN completely since for security reasons I don’t want to.
I really want for Plex to work, I will gladly pay for premium if I get it to work since I love the interface. Just hoping that is a problem with my setup.
