ShieldTV Pro - Library or Categories tab crash the app

Player Version#: latest on Google Play
I’m having an issue with the Plex App on ShieldTV Pro. I’ve tried:

  1. Clear Cache
  2. Re-install

Seems like none of it solve problems. Has any experience this issue?

I also have AppleTV and navigating Plex app in appleTV doesn’t cause the app to crash. So, I’m not sure if it is an App issue or a device issue.

I;ve had the very same issue ,at my wits end trying to fix it.
using the same build on windows as my server but using the sheild pro as my client

Maybe you guys can have a look at your logs as well and see if you also get the same error as me:

Browsing “category” tab would eventually freeze then crash Plex.

Curious, I monitor Plex memory on Shield TV Pro 2019 using adb shell "cat /proc/meminfo"

SwapFree would start around 90,000 kB of memory. As more categories are browsed that amount decreases. Once it goes below 1,000 kB system interface becomes laggy. When it hits zero kB complete system lockup/freeze and eventual crash.

Wonder if there is some kind of memory leak?
