Should Movie Names Agree with IMDB or TheMovieDB?

The Plex Movie agent says “Primary metadata provided by IMDb; Additional metadata provided by The Movie Database”.

However, IMDB lists The Force Awakens as “Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015)”;
TheMovieDB lists it as “Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)”.

IMDB lists The Empire Strikes Back as “Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)”;
TheMovieDB lists it as “The Empire Strikes Back (1980)”.

I know it might just be nitpicky, but for the sake of accuracy, which file/folder naming convention should be followed?

This page: https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200381023-Naming-Movie-files does not specify. Hence the question.

The ‘Original Title’ as stated in the IMDb should give you a good match.
But I presume the ‘alternative’ english or ‘original language’ titles will do as well.

As will do the title under which the movie was released in the language to which you have set your movie library.

The Star Wars movies present a somewhat special case.
‘Episode IV’ was the first released movie. It was originally titled just as ‘Star Wars’.
‘Episode IV’ and ‘A New Hope’ were only included later into its official title, when more movies came to the series.
