Show Plexamp connections on the server activity

When I launch the full Plex application, I look at the activity icon. It tells me when an update is needed, and which devices currently have a connection to the server (if it is the full Plex app). I have noticed for the last several years that when I run Plexamp (my favorite app ever), I do not see that activity on that server. I have not tested activity status from my other devices, but I primarily run Plexamp on my computers and phone - and would like to see all connections (and previous connections/stats). Please.

It is technically not feasible.
Plexamp is not “streaming”. It is downloading the track (and usually also the following tracks in the play queue) in advance, to prevent interruptions caused by temporary internet connectivity issues. Because of this, there is no way for the server to follow the player’s progress based on the data packets it is requesting from the server.

While you are in the same network as the server and have just started playback, you are usually able to see the playback activity, but if you have resumed a playback that has been paused for some time or are outside your home network with non-contiguous connectivity, those status messages can cease to come through.
