Ok, I’m not entirely sure I can convey the idea clearly but I’ll try.
At the moment plexdash shows what is playing (some of the time it seems but anyways…) and it would be interesting to see at glance what the server is doing whether it’s a sync, import or whatever it’s doing. But, the bottom line is I would like to be able to see why my server is being noisy and the CPU pinned and having that information in plexdash would make it easier to diagnose if it’s just normal behavior or something else acting up.
Do you have a specific idea what information you’re missing?
Plex Dash should already show ongoing streams incl. if they’re involving any transcoding, media details. There’s also the server performance graphs on CPU/memory/network consumption.
The graph is nice but it doesn’t say what’s going on, I’d like it to tell me if there’s a library scan, if theres sonic analysis task, basically all of the tasks that can be seen if you hover on the wrench icon in the desktop or web app in gray below what is being watched and even the other tasks that can’t be seen there, all of the background tasks really.
