Show "Slam Dunk" Specials folder not reflecting TVDB agent/ordering selection

Server Version 1.30.2.6563

For the show Slam Dunk:

https://thetvdb.com/series/slam-dunk

Plex will not respect any settings in regards to the “Specials” folder and always uses TMDB ordering and metadata.

  • I have the files and folders properly named, and {tvdb-xxxx} in the folder name
  • Every other season seems to match fine and respect changes
  • The specials are ordered differently on TVDB and TMDB
  • Series set to “TVDB (Aired)” in Advanced settings for Show does not fix it
  • TVDB is dragged to highest position in Agents
  • Using newest scanners

For example, the following file:

Slam Dunk - S00E01 - Slam Dunk Movie [1080p BD x265 10Bit][BBT-RMX]

…is labeled properly relative to TVDB, yet Plex keeps saying it’s what would be S00E05 on TVDB - which, on TMDB is 01. If that doesn’t make sense:

TMDB’s S00E01 = TVDB’s S00E05

My S00E01 = TVDB’s S00E01, but matching as TMDB’s which = S00E05

therefore my S00E01 is being matched as S00E05, because it wont stop pulling from TMDB

Am I forced to just manually fix everything and lock changes?

It’s because someone entered the wrong TVDB ID on TMDB.

https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/42573-slam-dunk/season/0/episode/1/edit?active_nav_item=external_ids

That should be 3312821.

It looks like all the specials have the wrong TVDB IDs.

If you go and fix the IDs on TMDB, then wait ~24-72 hours, it should be picked up by Plex.

Oh, okay. I guess in should have checked that. Thanks.
