I’m using Plex media server Version 1.12.1.4885 on a iMac macOS High Sierra & a Plex pass subscriber. The issue I’m having is that not all show dates are showing up to be able to record. Examples are last night I wanted to record the new 1st episode of Rosanne. I setup the series record but it wasn’t showing that episode but did show the next one. It has “skipped” many episodes from different channels & times. I like the idea’s in Plex but it is very frustrating.
I’ve been observing an issue with the EPG for several weeks now. I will see a program listed in my recording schedule, but at some point in the day it is scheduled to record, it disappears. I just witnessed it an hour ago. Thirty minutes before a show was scheduled to record it vanished from my list and when I went to look at the “On Right Now” section under program guide, there were only six shows listed. I have 26 channels on my HDHomerun and they all should be showing something. I see the same issue on my backup server. It’s like there’s a time mark on the data that is set wrong and the software thinks the show has already aired and when it’s still pending.
I have two Windows 10 machines running.
Yeah!!! I had gone to the “On Right Now” when the Rosanne episode was on. I had it set to posters & only NBC, CBS, & maybe 2 more had the program info. I clicked on the blacked out channel that was ABC & it played for a bit then would give an error. I also saw the issue were The Goldbergs on ABC once again was showing scheduled but the same thing happed it went to black & it shows that the next scheduled episode is the following week.

This is currently on the beta channel and it absolutely fixes the problem. You can read more about it here http://forums.plex.tv/discussion/316924/epg-just-drop-more-of-my-shows-around-noon-today-again
