Is there a way to view by folder then play all in shuffle mode? Would also be nice to shuffle play everything in a library. In my case I record shows off TV, would be nice to just click shuffle play and it randomly play tv shows from a massive library. Instead with plex I believe I have to go through and add files to a playlist which takes awhile to do. Also, when adding new tv shows I would then have to add those to the playlist. I believe this is a feature that emby has. Any ideas?

Android TV version doesn’t have this functionality. The Roku App does… This should be available in all app versions regardless of platform.
I like how with Emby you can see all of your folders, in my case, tv shows, then simply shuffle play all of them. I don’t like having to go through so many steps to get something playing. This feature is similar to live tv in that something is always on and you don’t have to decide. I’d like for all of my media to just be playing is some random order. With Plex you have to first add them all to a playlist which takes time and you have to update each time you add new media.
