Since 1.40.2.8395 (Synology NAS) only my LG TV app does not find the server

Hello.
Since I updated my server (on Synology NAS DSM 6, every time I access it with my LG app it does not find the server.
The only solution seems to be disconnecting the app and repeat the login using the code on plex.tv/link (I did not try with the QR code).

All other devices connected to the same server (laptop,. desktop., mobile phone) have no issues, it is just with my TV.

Your DS220 is being seen and updated plex.tv about 10 minutes ago.

Of specific note:

LOCAL ADDRESSES 192.168.1.52, 192.168.1.51

PMS and its apps do not do well when there is ambiguity of network adapters

Would you please check the eth0 adapter is set as the Default Gateway (box checked) , and if needed, consider “Bonding” the two adapters to one (common on Synology systems) so they team together as one IP address ?

I have tried your solution, I will let you know. It is strange, though, that I have this setup since last year and just now gave me this issue and only on my TV.

I did everything you said. My eth0 is the default gateway and I have bonded the two, but it just happened again as soon as I have finished watching a TV series episode,

I have a LG C1 (2021) model.

I do a lot of testing here (setting up and tearing down of different server instances).
The LG app does get “junked up”.

On occasion, I uninstall and reinstall the LG app

I do the following:

  1. Uninstall from the LG
  2. Open https://app.plex.tv
  3. Go to Settings - Authorized Devices - Other
  4. I REMOVE the LG app from the list of players (they accumulate VERY quickly)
  5. Now I install on the LG again and link it.
  6. Everything works normally (wifi from TV)

Luckily, I do not have to uninstall the app. I just need to disconnect it and re-pair using the QR code.
