I had a few folders pointing to drives on my pc and they are now gone (not the folders but rather the plex hook). When I go to add media it keeps telling me to download the plex server…which I’ve done several times. Any help?
Sounds like you haven’t reclaimed your server after hanging your password and opting to sign out all devices.
If you’re on the same machine, open the web app from the Plex icon in your system tray or open http://127.0.0.1:32400/web in a browser. Navigate to Settings > [Server Name] > General and click the sign-in button at the center of that settings page.
