Single Season "Got to show" View Bug

The Fire TV/Android TV app has a bug where it’s showing the wrong view format for single season TV Shows. To reproduce this:

  1. Set “Seasons” to “Hide for single season series” in your TV Show library settings on your server
  2. On the Fire TV, navigate to a any episode of any single season TV Show (or any TV Show where you only have one season in your library)
  3. Click “More” and then “Go to show” (There is no “Go to season” option)
  4. You’ll see that the layout is broken. It’ll list episodes in the cover format as if they were seasons. Instead it should be using the thumbnail format (which also shows the episode names)

Hmm interesting. Weird that I only noticed it recently. I guess maybe I just rarely use the “Go to show” option for things that are just one season

I only noticed it recently - when I enabled ‘collapse single seasons’.
I kinda like that mode - so I haven’t disabled it, yet.
