I am able to view my content using the plexapp player (http://www.plexapp.com/player/player.php) and would like to make a very simple channel that simply plays a live stream. I've searched around, but couldn't find a simple RTMP stream channel to modify. Could someone please point me towards an RTMP skeleton/guide?
Well CBS, HGTV, and FoodNetwork all use RMTP. Not sure which would be the best as a "skeleton" channel. I would guess HGTV and FoodNetwork are very similar and probably a little less code than the CBS channel.
Not sure if it affects all users or systems, but just be aware there is a problem with RTMP based channels with PMS version 0.9.7.28. It has been fixed and the update will be in the next release of PMS.
