I like this new feature but i still have to start the next episode manually or wait 10 seconds…if i skip the credits and the episode is at it’s end, the next episode should start immediately
Just double-checking… do you have auto-play enabled for your client app?
Yes it is enabled.
The point is that when i click ‘skip credits’ it jumps to the end and the counter starts countring from 10 to 0 bevore the next episode starts…i understand that if the episode has an after credits scene, the skip credits is fine as it is - but when the end of the episode is reached by skipping the credits, the next episode should start immediately 
I suppose this might actually be linked.
While some users might actually intend to jump straight into the next episodes, others might only want to skip the credits to get to the post-play screen and proceed from there (e.g. watching another show from the up-next hub on the post-play screen or some extras).
Therefore I was wondering if you’re mostly aiming at skipping the countdown on the post-play screen in general or if this is only about the combination of autoplay + skip-credits?
+1 for starting the next episode. Skip credits essentially doesn’t do anything for TV series because you can always just hit back at that time anyway to get to the post-credits/next episode countdown screen.
Nice feature and good to have, but it essentially only really does it’s job for movies.
I think it makes way more sense to be next episode. If someone wants to view the post-credits, they can just go with the previous default behaviour which is hitting back or exit or whatever right when the credits start? Then you just disable the countdown on that screen or something.
+1 from here for next episode in stead of the skip credit.
the most people who skip the credit do this when waching tv shows and want to skip to the next episode.
the post play is more for movies and not tv shows.
you can devide this. skip credits for movies to go to the post play and next episode for tv shows
Plex have added some new features to improve the player experience.
Among others, this includes an option to tell Plex to immediately start playback of the next episode.
Settings > Player Experience > Auto Play Countdown → immediate
With that in mind I consider this suggestion as implemented.
