Skip Intro Does Not Appear

Hi,

Long time Plex user, I have a Lifetime Plex Pass.

Never any need to post here before because everything has worked perfectly.

I previously has my PMS, let’s call it PMS-Win, on a Windows 7 box. I watch via a couple of LG TVs and 1 Sony TV. I have now migrated Plex over to a new Synology DS920+ DSM 7, copied all my media over, installed PMS, let’s call it PMS-NAS, via a manual download from Plex, added the libraries etc…

All media is now streamed from PMS-NAS to the aforementioned TVs. However, whilst via PMS-Win I had the option to Skip Intro on most TV shows I now have none when streaming from PMS-NAS. As mentioned I have a Plex Pass, set the Generate Intro Video Markers to “As a scheduled task and when media is added”, the TV Shows library also has the “Enable Intro Detection” ticked.

TVs are definitely logged in as my Plex User.

I have re-analysed the TV shows library, and the sceduled task has run a few times now, but still no Skip Intro feature.

Any ideas?

As an aside, as I no longer use PMS-Win I no longer need to claim that server so how can I disown it? How can I check that I own the new PMS-NAS as I have not had the “Do you want to claim this server?” (or the like) message?

Try the following.

Reset the NAS & Router, Analyze all the seasons again

SE56… meant to reply to this some time ago but forgot.

I did not reset the NAS and router, but I did analyse shows individually in groups of 4 or 5. That did the trick, thanks.

Selecting all shows and preforming a re-analysis did not work.
