Skip Intro feature does not work for existing collection

I have tried analyzing TV shows by the main show, by the season and even individually and it never gives me the skip option. I analyzing Star Trek Season 3 and it ran for several hours stating “scanning for intros” and never produced any results even days later after several reboots. I’ve already learned that analyzing the entire TV Shows group will not work either. I’ve let the server maintenance run for nearly a day at a time two weeks in a row and shows STILL will not give me the skip option. However, a new grab of NOS4A2 works right away as soon as it’s added to the library and there it is, Skip Intro. But that is only one single show. The feature is there so why not on all the other shows? What on earth am I doing wrong??? Or should I say what is PLEX Server not doing right? It’s driving me insane.

I’m using the 2017 Nvidia Shield where I see only the one show working. Also use Android Mobile on the Samsung phone to stream via Chromecast 4K in another room which never gives Skip Intro on anything and lastly, use the built in App of my LG OLED TV which again, never gives me a skip intro option on anything. This feature people are raving about is absolutely elusive to me.

Any ideas?

Assuming all the prefs are set (Server Settings -> Library) and at the Library Level, it should all work, I have a 2017 Shield Pro and it works fine!

We will likely need logs to investigate further!

Can you enable DEBUG logging in the server settings and then try to analyses a season of a tv shows, wait some time, and then upload the logs here (or DM if you prefer)?

EDIT I meant SEASON here not show level, I know you tired both but just correcting my self as it won’t start intro detection if you run analyze at the show level.

I will work on that later after I gain access to the server, thanks

some shields do not have enough free space to do the skip intro analysis.

you may either need to remove unused apps, and/or move plex to an external storage device

It could very likely be that but logs should help clarify
