I have enabled this feature on the server level and even the Library’s. I have yet to find a show where the Skip Intro button appears. I have tried Plex-Web and Plex for Windows store app. I know it is not available on PS4 yet but hopefully once it starts working they will be updated.
Any suggestions on getting this working, I enabled it 2 weeks ago and even manually analyzed several of the shows.
Look at the XML information for an episode to see if Plex has picked up an intro.
See the XML Information section of Investigate Media Information and Formats for details on viewing the XML data.
Look for a line similar to:
<Marker type="intro" startTimeOffset="1238" endTimeOffset="62237"/>
It appears at the bottom of the page on the episodes I’ve checked, in the last three to five lines.
I believe the times are in milliseconds, based on when the Skip Intro capability is available for the episode where I pulled the data (the intro ended and the button disappeared at roughly the 1 min 02 sec mark).
