Loving the Skip Intro feature, however I’m getting a “freeze” on the image on screen for a few seconds after I press Skip Intro as can be seen in this video. I pressed the Skip Intro button at about 4 sec mark in the video. This is Plex client on Nvidia Shield TV (Tube) - connected to a Denon AVR with HDMI passthrough enabled.
Anyone got any ideas if this is a common/known issue?
Anybody? I took delivery of the Shield Pro today - but noticing this issue exists on that also.
Same issue here. I’m almost ready to disable the feature.
Glad to hear it’s not just me, haven’t heard of anyone else with this issue so assumed it was maybe just something on my end!
I’ve noticed that Skip Intro has worked flawlessly a few times in use, but still like 80% of the time I’m getting the freeze frame for 3/4 seconds.
Yeah. I’m pretty sure it’s an NVIDIA Shield/Android TV Plex issue as far as I can tell because all my other Plex clients (Android Mobile, iPhone, Roku, 4K Fire TV, etc.) don’t exhibit this behavior. If it helps, my NVIDIA Shield is the original 2015 and not the 2017 or newest one.
