Hello despite I have restarted pms, my computer, I cannot see the feature in my library

PMS installed: 1.19.3.2843

Are you using the locally installed version of Plex Web?
That version is not yet supporting the skip-intro feature. You’ll need to use e.g. the hosted version of Plex Web (http://app.plex.tv/desktop) or the Plex for Mac/Windows desktop client.

The related support article contains a list of clients that can use skip-intro.

in that case… how is it missing?

  • no option to set an exception for a tv show library (library context menu: ... > Manage Library > Edit... > Advanced > Enable Intro detection)
  • the scheduled task has not yet kicked in / analyzing the tv show seasons has not yet concluded (e.g. no <Marker ... type="intro" ... /> segment in a tv-episode’s detailed information ... > Get Info > View XML)
  • no popup Skip Intro showing when you play an episode

I have not the Enable Intro detection option in my library advanced settings

With which app do you get that and what version of each do you have deployed?

  • e.g. version of Plex for Windows?
  • e.g. version of Plex Web showing under Settings > Plex Web > General

Version 4.34.2 for web and 1.11.0.1215-1d8c460c for windows

What exact Windows version are you running?
I take it this is a tv-show library you looked for the advanced setting (sorry if it’s a dumb question… just trying to make sure we’re on the same page).

Sure i have check on tv show library not on movies…

Skip Intros is a PlexPass feature.
