Good afternoon, in my plex library i also have some old video tapes from my vaction converted to mp4. Files, plex degine them as movies. I would like to know how i can change it to TV show catagory instead. Or else is there a way to disable trailers for TV shows, anytime my parents waching an episode there getting the local trailers file seen each time. Can you tell me whhere i can ask this to get a prober answer? Thank you alot Support!
You can disable trailers for certain libraries in each movie library’s advanced options (… > Manage Library > Edit… → Advanced > Enable Cinema Trailers).
Another option might be to create the library as „Other Video“ library (new library, pointing to the same folder).
If you want to present your library as a tv series library, make sure to reorganize your files to match the naming schema for tv shows; then create a new tv show library and configure it to use the personal media agent.

Disables the Enable Cinametic Trailers here and it seems to work for now, thanks alot for the quick response!!!
