I apologize in advance if this should be in a different forum. I have noticed on on my Plex Player apps (android, iOS, Chrome app, and web) that the button that I think should jump to the beginning of the track (:previous_track_button:) skips to the beginning of the previous track. So if I’m in the middle of a song and want to jump back to the beginning, I must either drag the progress bar or push :previous_track_button: followed by :next_track_button:.

This seems like bizarre behavior, and unlike any other player I have ever used. I would expect to push :previous_track_button: to jump to the beginning of the current track, and if I push it again, to go to the beginning of the previous track.

Anyone have any ideas about this behavior?

Can anyone address this. It’s really quite frustrating when I want to skip back to the beginning of a song/video/movie, only to have Plex skip to the previous track.

I don’t use the Plex music player, so I just checked it out. It doesn’t look like there is any action that returns to the beginning of a song - the buttons are only for skipping forward a song and back a song.

Yes, but they should behave like the corresponding buttons on a CD Player/Stereo, and skip to the beginning (:previous_track_button:) - which it doesn’t do currently - or skip to the end (:next_track_button:) of the current track that is playing.

I agree, the buttons don’t operate like they should. Have you searched to see if that’s already a feature request?

Nope. I’ll give it a try. Though these forums make it very hard to search for such things, having to guess at terms used.
