Slightly complex playlist creation question

Hi all,

I’m trying to create a TV show playlist that has many different TV shows that play in a specific order.
Something like this:

Star Trek s01e01
Star Trek TNG s01e01
Star Trek DS9 s01e01
Star Trek s01e02
Star Trek TNG s01e02
Star Trek DS9 s01e02
Star Trek s01e03
Star Trek TNG s01e03
Star Trek DS9 s01e03
and so on.

Obviously, it’s very time consuming to create this by hand. Shuffle isn’t useful because it’s a random shuffle.

Anyone have an idea on how to do this a bit more programically?

Or … anything to do some of the initial grunt work?

Nope, can’t think of an easy way to do this.

is this by aired date? if so you can create an auto playlist sorted by aired date.

if you just want to want to watch in that specific order, you might be able to do it by mangling the ‘sort order’ field and putting all 3 in a custom collection (like the DC CW Multiverse collection I created above).

It’s not so much by air date. But, that might lead me in the right direction. Thanks!

After I posted this, I realized that I could just write a quick app that does this directly in the DB.
