Slow channel changes

I’m noticing channel changes can take 10-15 seconds, is there anything I can do speed up channel changes?

Roku settings:
Quality: original
Direct play: force
allow directstream: true
Allow MPEG2: true
Stream Info confirms direct stream is coming through

Server settings:
Transcoder quality: prefer higher speed encoding
Background transcoding x264 preset: ultra fast
Use hardware acceleration when available: true
Use hardware-accelerated video encoding: true

NAS, HDHomeRun and Roku all connected via ethernet.

This please. I’ve had the same issue forever and it’s really getting bad. I’ve read a bunch of stuff online saying it could be anything from Plex buffering the channel so multiple people can watch the stream without using multiple tuners to it being something to do with DVR/EPG data.

Regardless, can you please put some development effort into cutting down channel changes to nearly instantaneous? I’ve had a few people ask me about Plex and whether they’re coming from Cable, antenna TV or Tivo’s they all get hung up on the ‘10-20 seconds to switch channels’ thing.
