I am going through my movie library and updating the posters to my tastes. Particularly for Collections I am selecting posters that carry a theme through.
I have noticed that on any movie that has a Collection tag it takes a long time to load the Collection row of posters after scrolling down.
I thought it was just all the pages took a long time to create the whole page of related movies. But I happened to click on a movie that did not have a collection and scrolled down and the Related and Also by or Also starring rows were there instantly.
I have a feeling that maybe the Collection tag doesn’t have an index in the database or something. I don’t think it’s my hardware being slow as it’s a 4 CPU (96 thread) server with 512 GB of RAM and like I said, the movies that don’t have a collection populate the extra suggestions instantly. I do have a large library so I do realize that is contributing.
