Smart Playlists with Rule Group seems completely broken

I want to create a smart playlist with two rule groups

Match any of the following
Match all of the following
Record Label Contains avex trax
Album Title Contains Non-Stop
Match all of the following
Record Label Contains avex trax
Album Title Contains Rush

And adding a rule appears to work, until you put some text into the filter box, then the whole page refreshes and collapses any or all rule groups.

In addition, depending on the browser, if I have Albums selected and I try to create new a smart playlist, the browser ends up covering the spot where the advanced filters will appear. Once I switch to Artists and attempt to create a new smart playlist does the advanced filters appear. And then in another browser or two, the same thing will happen, but it only occurs when Artists is selected first and then switching to Albums allows the bar to appear.

What is going here, is there some way to get Smart Playlist Rule Groups (and in general) working?

The vanishing filter bar is a known issue and is currently under investigation.
As a workaround, use the local web app or the Plex desktop client app.

Wow, I wouldn’t have expected the rule group disappearing to be working normally on the local client, since I never use it. Thank you for the work around.
