This is mostly just my ego talking, so move along if that doesn’t suit you.

I just wanted to say goodbye to the forums for a bit. Whether in agreement or not over the past (something something) years I’ve enjoyed engaging with many folks here.

However, based on recent interactions with Plex staff, it just doesn’t feel the same anymore. I have no doubt that they care, but pressures, either internal or external, rather limit how they can address issues their users experience.

Where things used to feel collaborative, they now feel combative.

I have no plans to move off of the platform (it’s great and still serves my needs, for the most part).

I’m going to miss this place.

I would say many will miss you and your pooch, I do understand were your coming from with the combative interactions. I believe it a sign of the times in general, the world is a mess and becoming worse.

As a ATV contributor mainly now days, things are looking up for that client. For a while I thought android had infiltrated the Apple camp. LOL.

Anyway we only crossed paths a couple times but I have enjoyed some of your discussions and solutions over the years.

Your right the place has changed, especially after Juice’s departure. The fun has gone, hope to see you about at times.
