[Solved] ALL movies no longer play after update to PMS v1.15.3.835 (s1001 error)

The same thing goes for me. Unable to play anything.

Not sure if it is related but I had a friend that was having issues yesterday (no one else on my server was) and found that he was using Plex on his PC using Firefox and it didn’t work. I had him change to Chrome and it worked fine. Seemed odd!

I’m also having this issue - started in the middle of watching something last night. Now nothing will play on my Apple TV Plex or even in my browser.

Don’t have anything configured in preroll.

An error occurred trying to play ā€œ<>ā€.
Error code: s1001 (Network)

On version 1.15.6.1079-78232c603
Upgraded to version 1.16.1.1291-158e5b199 and getting the same issues.

clearing out the movie preroll field worked for me as well!

No one said you can’t use pre-roll. Just that you change how you put the location in

that actually isnt true. we have been told in other threads that we can’t use preroll. it’s an actual bug

All I can tell you is that on Windows, I had the Plex URL in the field and it used to work and then we had the issues the OP has mentioned. I changed to have the file structure location instead of the URL (M:\Movies\preroll1.m4v). I have 5 of them now and I just separate by a semi-colon to have it randomly choose one (use a comma between them to have it run all of them each time).

Ever since that change, it works great for me with no issues.

I am having the same issue - I have nothing in the pre-roll. Just updated to latest PMS and issue still persists.

At the moment it seams only one tv show doing it and they are AVI files. My pre-roll is also empty. No news from PLEX themselves?
