[SOLVED] DVR Setup "Hangs" After Providing Zip Code and Confirming Channel Selection

I’ve been trying to set up Live TV and DVR but running into an issue. During setup, the process seems to hang after providing my zip code and confirming my source and channel selection. On this screen, after clicking “Ok”, the spinner appears and everything just stops right there. I’ve let it run for what seems like an unreasonable amount of time, but it never completes.

For reference, I am running the latest Plex Server release (as of Nov. 14, 2017), on Windows Pro 8.1, and my tuner is a supported HDHomeRun OTA device.

Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this?

Edit: it was a browser-specific issue (tracking protection enabled). Got it sorted now, thanks.

Hi,

I seem to be having the same issue although I have disabled tracking protection and tried Chrome & Firefox. I tried to use Edge but couldn’t even login to Plex with that.

Did you simply disable tracking protection or did you change other settings as-well?
