as on the image, some episodes are in the series but not all. but it has labeled them correctly ??? Is it because they are different video file types ? can it be solved without editing the files themselves ?

From the looks of it, this is the Recently Added hub.
It is functioning as designed.
If there is more than ~2 days between new episodes of the same show, they will be shown as separate events in the Recently Added Hub.
This is so you will notice a new episode has been added, which otherwise woudl go unnoticed because it is folded into its “season” or “show” poster.
