SOLVED! Hiccups with external subtitles and audio blips

SOLVED. turns out by turning off the Auto Adjust Quality in the APTV Plex app fixed it. IDK if that means its a bug or if its supposed to work that way.

Player Version: 8.40 (9370)**

I’ve encountered a few (consistent) hiccups and wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing and/or point me to the right place.

Here’s what is going on:

1. When playing media with external subtitles and the media defaults to “Play Original Quality,” there’s no option to adjust subtitle offsets unless first tinkering with in-play quality setting.

2. After tinkering with the quality (to make the offset adjustment option appear) and adjusting offsets, the audio will go in and out in blips. Audio will consistently stop after adjusting offsets and switching back to “Play Original Quality" after 55 - 60 seconds

I appreciate any help pointing me in the right direction!
