SOLVED, KIND OF Playstation 5 not seeing new episodes

Player Version#:1.003.000

For a couple of shows Plex is not able to see newer episodes when I click into the show. However if I press the options button on the icon for “Recently Released Episodes” it does see the most recent one. I have tried refreshing metadata and Scanned Library files. Anything else I can do to force it to reindex or anything?

UPDATE: Okay, so instead of Scanning the entire library of TV Shows I scanned the individual show itself and the episodes appeared. If anyone knows of a way to prevent this from happening in the first place though I’m all ears.
