Hello everyone,
I’m trying to reset my password using https://support.plex.tv/articles/account-requires-password-reset . I performed the process 30 minutes ago. I already check my spam/junk mail folder. No email from plex to set a new password.
Are there any current issues witt it?
I lodged a reset request last night and it took 7 hours to come through, by which time the token had long expired.
I’ve lodged three more attempts so far today and not one has produced a reset email.
The issue is clearly at Plex’s end as I can see the timestamps when the email moved from their servers to Microsoft’s (my email provider).
This is farcical. Asking everyone to reset their passwords and then not facilitating it. Get it sorted!!

I am having the same issue. This whole thing is absurd. Not only can’t we reset, but have you looked at all the problems people are having AFTER the reset?

Even worse, I ended up now with two different accounts after resetting one. My old account created in 2019 which I have used for a long time has been replaced with a newly created account, under the same email.

Unfortunately, I’m still not receiving any emails. Is there a way I can create a ticket so someone can look into this?

Adding the IP address of Plex’s email server to my M365’s whitelist solved the problem: Password reset email does not arrive - #34 by systemshark
