I’ve been using my HDHomeRun Prime successfully with Plex DVR for the past couple of months to record movies and TV. Lately, most of my shows record without a problem. However, sometimes even if the EPG indicates upcoming airings of a TV show, it doesn’t seem to allow me to record the entire series. One of the TV shows in question is How I Met Your Mother and I’ve set it up to record new/repeat airings and left quality to “Any”. Is this an issue with the EPG from Gracenote or an issue with Plex media server?
Would need to check your Plex Media Server log files to see what it says when it tries to schedule the recordings.
In looking at my logs, it appears as though there are issues with finding “top-level” paths for How I Met Your Mother. I’ve attached my logs for more information. I’m not entirely sure why this is happening. Plex Media Server Logs_2018-09-07_18-04-30.zip (5.4 MB)

Ah, yes. I have these episodes from my DVD collection, but I was trying to record HD episodes from TV when they aired. I assumed that when I checked “Replace Lower Resolution Items” that this would still record the TV episodes. After moving the DVD mkvs, the schedule updated with the episodes. This can be considered solved.
