When playing 4k content, the plex for Windows is stuck at blank background with no progess in progress bar, while on the server dashboard, the Now Playing shows progress.
Meanwhile playing back on web app is perfectly normal, and using vlc to play back the mkv file is fine too.
I’ve tried to remove and resintall plex but it’s the same.
Has anyone had the same issue?

Sorted by removing the data folder then reinstall.
