Edit: Solved. On a hunch I checked the plexamp app settings under the general iOS settings. In there I found that there was a local network permission that was turned off. I have no idea how it ever got turned off or how that persisted through a full app re-install. Turning it on fixed the issue. Leaving this here so that if anyone else has this problem hopefully they can find the solution quickly here.

I’m having an issue with one plexamp instance on my network being unable to control other instances. Other devices work as expected. Plexamp log will be posted below.
Problem device is iphone iOS 18. Plexamp version 4.11.5.1356
Target device varies. Plexamp running on Raspberry pi headless, other iOS, MacOS.
What does work - controlling PlexHTPC from the problem device. Other iOS devices can control any of the target devices listed above without a problem.
After looking through other topics describing similar issues I’ve verified a few things.
Devices are all on the same local subnet and there is no double nat present.
Problem device can open up the web interface on the headless raspberry pi instance in a web browser so we know that there isn’t a base network issue stopping the connection to port 32500 on the target.
I have removed the plexamp app completely and reinstalled.
Plexamp functions perfectly when playing music locally, just falls down on controlling another player.
Appreciate any insight that can be offered.
Thanks!
