SOLVED: Setting to Remove Podcasts

Solved: Disabling Podcasts (Diabled, not just Disable for Managed Users) in PMS will remove podcasts like I wanted. Click your user icon in the top right of PMS, click Account, click Online Media Sources, then disable podcasts. Thanks to @x64man for the help.

The setting to remove podcasts from the home screen only removes the home screen row. It does not remove the library section icon or the icon in the sidebar. We should have the same ability to remove unwanted features as we do on other player apps. Also, please ensure toggling this also removes podcasts from search results.

Good luck. They seem to think we want and love podcasts on our TV.

I encourage anyone who shares my opinion on his to like the post. This is one of the ways Plex guages the communities opinions on things.

It can be disabled in your account settings at plex.tv under online media sources, that will obliterate it.

Yup, that did it. I thought I had already disabled it in PMS, hence my frustration, but apparently I had only disabled it for managed users.

Thanks for the tip!
