I got myself a TV Butler to get rid of my BT TV. I bought it in the Netherlands. I tried it there on my Mac Laptop. And with the DVBLogic server, and a trial of their TV Source, I managed to find the three channels that you can grab there for free of the ether.
Happy that it worked, I dragged it back to the UK. I plugged it into my Ubuntu (16.04) Plex server. Did a fill system update. Updated Plex to the latest subscriber version, and then installed the Ubuntu version of the DVBLogic server software. I fired up the server software and confirmed it saw the stick.
Happy that all was well, I went into Plex and added a DVR. It found the TV Butler and I did a scan. I was disappointed when it came back with no channels. I decided to add the TV Source trial and see if the stick could find channels with it’s wn software, but it too fails to find any channels! Any clues how to fix this?
